Closer Mason Miller was selected as the Padres' representative for the 2026 Major League Baseball All-Star Game.

At the time of his selection, Miller carried a 0.78 earned-run average with 21 saves. His high-velocity late-inning work had made him one of the most consequential pieces of San Diego's bullpen.

The honor made Miller the club's lone initial All-Star selection and placed a spotlight on the relief pitching that had protected many of the Padres' narrow leads through the first half.
