San Diego recommended Bridge to Home funding for projects totaling 430 affordable homes.
The program supplies local money to close financing gaps in developments assembled from tax credits, loans and other public sources. A recommendation must still move through approvals and project-level closing conditions.
The number of proposed homes expressed the award's potential. Groundbreakings and completed, occupied units would show how much of that potential reached residents.
